This "Woologenic" colorway was designed by Megan Morrell (of Ramble On Fiber Co.) for the Reinventing Wool book launch. Shorn V's heathered gray skeins serve as the base and Megan took the book cover as inspiration. Skeins were acid dyed in very small batches and sprinkled with so much love and color.
 
These skeins are extremely limited--only about 50 were produced.
 
Some skeins will be available here on Sept 8th at 7:00pm (the "out of stock" notification will magically disappear!) 
Some will be available at various fiber festivals and talks

Yarn Information:
Each skein of "Woologenic" has Shorn V as its base. Shorn V is a beautiful Corriedale and Corriedale Teeswater blend put up in 3-ply, DK weight skeins. The fiber is a mix of fleece from Cathe Capel's Seven Sisters Farm (Illinois) and Rhonda McClure's Ewe and Us flock (Nebraska). The yarn was designed by Melissa in consultation with Mary Jeanne Packer at Battenkill Fiber Mill in New York. The yarn was dyed in very small batches by Megan Morrell. Price is per skein.
 
Approx 250yds in each 3.5oz skein, DK weight, 3-ply
Suggested gauges--US 5 (3.75mm): 23sts and 35 rounds in 4"--US 7 (4.5mm): 20sts and 30 rounds in 4"
 
Please note: because this yarn has been dyed in small batches, there may be some variation between skeins. I recommend alternating skeins if you are knitting a larger project.
